Image Description:
This is a digital rendering of the completed “Dragon and Wolf” cross stitch pattern. As if stitched fabric on 22 count Aida fabric (generated from the program I use to create patterns), the design showcases a majestic blue dragon with its wing protectively draped around a smaller white wolf. The intricate details and vibrant colors bring this fantasy scene to life. Imagine this beautiful piece displayed in your home!

This original pattern for an intermediate to advanced cross stitcher that I created was inspired by the strange friendship that I had watched flourish between my white small Lhapso Alpso emotional support dog, “Rosie” and a red ring neck African green parrot named “Baby”. It had started with Baby cautiously sneaking up along side of Rosie and quickly plucking a hair (or three) from her butt. Once Baby realized that HE was THE treasured pet, he would sit on the door of his cage and stare at Rosie as if asking her why didn’t she attack him like she does me when I try to trim the hair from in front of her eyes. Rosie would simply stare right back. They would keep at this silent way of communicating for hours at a time.
